Our Barbers

Bevan Williams (partner and head barber) was born and raised in
Wellington NZ. He started his hairdressing career in 1986 working
as an apprentice for some of Wellington's leading salons and training
with the industries best. However it wasn't until 1991 when he
discovered his passion as a barber and fell in love with the barber shop culture.
Bevan relocated to Sydney to train at world renowned Pivot Point after
completing with honours he was given the opportunity to be mentored
by Joe Giliatano, where the finer details of barbering were taught and mastered.
It was not long before the opportunity to work with the best of Sydney's
barbers opened up, and he continued to learn the art of cut throat shaving
as well as all aspects of men's cutting all with a very strong Italian influence,
which is strong in his skill set today.
He has worked in television and theatre as a stylist and he has also competed
in industry competitions with considerable success.
Bevan is a multicultural barber specialising in all aspects of traditional barbering
he is often called old school, but never old fashioned. His attention to detail is
second to none. Bevan brings his vast knowledge of the industry, skills and
experience to Williams and Goss Barbers.
